Skeleton Technologies Signs Strategic MOU with "H2G" to Expand into Australian Energy Market

Saturday 27 September 2025

Skeleton Technologies, a European leader in high-power energy storage, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with H2G to explore commercial opportunities in the Australian market, marking a pivotal step in the nation’s transition away from Li Batteries in Data Centres to very high-power density solutions for Data Centres and Large Servers.

Skeleton’s proprietary Curved Graphene-based supercapacitors and SuperBattery systems offer unmatched power density, ultra-fast charging, and long operational lifespans. These technologies are already deployed across Data Centres, transport, grid, and industrial sectors in Europe, and are now poised to support Australia’s push to protect high security installations in Data Centres, Critical Infrastructure and installations where high security of supply is paramount.

“Australia’s energy landscape is undergoing a profound shift. With Skeleton’s high-performance storage solutions, we aim to accelerate decarbonization while enhancing grid stability and industrial resilience,” said Dr. Froböse, COO of Skeleton Technologies.

The Supercapacitor and SuperBattery technology provide a firesafe, very long-life solution for back-up power in critical infrastructure.  Supercapacitors do not have thermal runaway and Skeleton Technologies batteries can operate for over 1M cycles with 10µs dynamic response times, up to 50-60C power density, 45% improved energy efficiency, and 20+ year lifespans.

Skeleton Technologies Data Centre solution is unmatched and with virtually limitless life cycles provides unprecedented opportunities to turn your data centre back-up battery from a cost centre to a profit centre.  Due to the speed of response, the Supercapacitor Battery solution can provide operating power support and deliver Data Centres with up to 40% more FLOPS using peak load shaving.
